Te Arohanui is a proud graduate of The Actors Program in 2020. During her time at the program, she acted as the lead in the short film This is Your Half Hour Call, as well as in the theatre production Fake News. Since then she toured the fully immersed Reo Māori show Te Mahi a Rahi and Racists Anonymous by Te Pou Theatre’s Tainui Tukiwaho in 2021. She has now found herself occupying the space of a writer, receiving funding from Creative NZ to write her first theatre show and will also be writing for Autaia 2022 alongside other renowned Māori writers.
